Training
We impart training to user department on aspects of functioning of installed equipment, understandability of various parameters on its display and info to be shared while logging a service call with us incase of malfunctioning.
During warranty period, we conduct preventive Maintenance of installed UPS systems once in a quarter. In the event of malfunctioning of UPS system, our trained engineers shall provide On-site service support and faulty spare parts are either repaired or replaced, thus ensuring UPTIME of your critical loads.
- During preventative maintenance visits, our engineers conduct variety of visual checks to identify early warning signs such as ageing fans, capacitors, degrading batteries, etc and allow remedial works to be actioned before the system fails.
- Operating environment will be assessed for temperature, airflow, dust and humidity levels, as these can all affect the optimum performance of the equipment.
- Engineers record their findings and any recommendations for remedial works, in a field service report

Power Quality problems are complex and often an expert team, having practical experience, is needed to do the diagnosis and figure out the solution. Same types of problems or symptoms, such as motor or transformer overheating, can have different causes (harmonics, unbalance loading, overloading), and each needs a different solution.
- The first step is to understand the nature of the problems and assess how each of them relates to the business and what losses might result. Energy-intensive industries or mission-critical office buildings are suffering from two or more problems. Very few sites are trouble free.
- As energy costs continue to increase, newer products are entering in market which are more energy efficient. To achieve this improvement in efficiency, electronic devices are utilised. These electronics devices typically uses SMPS as power source at their input. OR for the VFD which are used for motors OR the UPS, Arc furnaces, High current rectifiers, all these equipments do not use AC power in its "original" avatar. Instead they chop this AC waveform and make partial use of it. By this they achieve their target - to use lesser power.
- However, in the process the input power waveform starts getting deteriorated. The "chopping" of Sine wave leads to the generation of Harmonic currents (What is Harmonic currents) Collectively all these can be termed as Power Pollution.
- The way all electronic devices operate, they generate harmonic currents and although as one of devices these levels will have no major impact, but when applied in large numbers the impact can be quiet significant.
- Now the question is the obvious one: ‘How much money one should invested to mitigate the power problems?

Battery supply and replacements
It is essential that VRLA SMF batteries are properly commissioned and maintained correctly.
- Commercially speaking, batteries last for 3-4 years if they are properly maintained( proper charging, installed in good environment,etc)
- Technically, life of the batteries is 300 cycles. 1 full charge & 1 deep discharge is considered as 1 cycle.
- Battery manufacturers recommend an ambient of 27 deg C for the batteries. There will be a little effect on the life if AC is not provided. It is totally upto the discretion of the customer whether to provide AC or only ventilated area for the batteries.
- Regular maintenance of your UPS and its associated battery bank should include visual checks for signs of battery corrosion, swelling of the battery blocks and any indication of acid leaking or physical damage.
